Located in Kurort Gohrisch, 4.9 km from Saxon Switzerland National Park, Sennerhütte Landhotel provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. The breakfast was simple, like most continental breakfasts in Europe. Nothing special but nice enough. We ate dinner there every night, and everything was fresh and tasty. I highly recommend the house-made hazelnut schnapps. I wish I could have bought a bottle. It is 150 meters from the small village center. We had nice drinks and cakes there.

Offering a garden and a sun terrace, Pension Waldhäusl is quietly located in Bad Schandau, just a 6-minute drive from the River Elbe. The staff was very very kind and friendly. A true family business which is rooted in the area. Also, the room was very quiet and newly renovated. Breakfast was very good. Good link with public transport as well. Dinner (add additional charge) was very high quality local food. Albeit being situated on a seemingly big road, there practically no traffic and the area was quiet.

Quietly located in the heart of Wehlen's historic centre, the Wehlener Hof is just 100 metres from the banks of the Elbe River. It offers hearty buffet breakfasts, garden with a terrace and a bar. A charming little hotel at the central square of Wehlen, the location couldn't be better, you can find pretty much everything the town has offer just around the corner. The train station is on the other side of the Elbe, but there is an excellent ferry service that gets you over the river in 2 min, there is practically no waiting time as the service is "on demand", and once you get off the ferry, the hotel is just another 2 min walk away. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, you can see that they love what they are doing. The breakfast had an incredible variety of some really creative homemade marmalades, four days weren't enough for us to try them all. Our room had a spacious bathroom and a large terrace.

Great hotel near the centrum of Bad Schandau. The staff speaks germen and sometimes also czech. Great location for if you would like hiking in near national park.
