I laid in the hammock all afternoon and watched the fish and birds all around me. Linda who helps Aron run the place always has a smile and cooks great food. The bathrooms are what you would expect around here, dip Mandi and dip toilet. Not my favorite, but normal for the area. The bungalows are well built, but I run hot and I did find that I wish I had a battery operated fan. Aron took me on a snorkel tour to Arborek island. I saw so many fish! He is a great guide, we had a lot of fun.

The homestay is very simple, don't expect luxuries like hot shower or AC in your hut - read the Raja Ampat page as there are people coming expecting a 5* resort... If you are looking for a unique and authentic experience, you should stay here. Great value for money, good location for snorkeling, close to dive sites, and the bungalows are over-water which adds to the experience. The food was very tasty and the manager Wahid did his best to make me feel welcome 💛

Baronda Guest House is most singly the best accommodation you will find in the town. For many reasons. It is very affordable. It is beautiful. The host is absolutely amazing. The breakfast is fab. The area is so local and beautiful and clean. It is close to the airport. There is a shopping centre just a short Grab away. But the absolute highlight was going to the jungle with Fajri for birdwatching. It was both a humbling and incredible experience. Staying in the local village, walking with the local guides (who knows every part of the jungle) and seeing amazing creatures. Fajri made such a special effort with my meal (and difficult dietary requirements). We hope we have made friends forever. Thank you Fajri and team for creating the most amazing memories and one of our trip highlights.

The bungalow was clean, had a fan, a mosquito net and a little shelf space. The veranda and the view were amazing. The bathroom was outside and for us one of the better facilities during our stay in Raja ampat. The food was very simple but always enough. We enjoyed our stay and say thank you to the lovely family.

The dining room is a very nice place to be and relax. Food variety, quality and quantity was the best we had in Raja Ampat. We didn't dive but did a snorkel tour with them

The BEST guesthouse! Recky was very professional and welcoming. Devy and Adelia made sure we were comfortable and happy. Bungalows with private bathrooms facing the ocean. Amazing food, each meal different from the last. The chef even made a surprise birthday cake for my boyfriend! 🎂 Incredible snorkeling just in front of the bungalows! If you don't like falling asleep with the sound of the waves this is not the place for you! 🤭 Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
