Set in the Cotswold market town of Tetbury, this charming town house dates back to 1535 and boasts a restaurant with views of the walled garden and fountain. Tge staff were very attentive. The room - Jacobean - was quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean with a large bathroom. The bedding was lovely and we enjoyed the tea, coffee and treats provided in the room. The breakfast was outstanding, everything you could want was included. Great location with good parking and right in the middle of town.

The owner was incredibly welcoming and made our stay feel like we were staying with friends. Huge credit to the chef as well. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Local ingredients, incredibly tasty, and so fresh. A wonderful selection. A real gem of the area and we will certainly be staying again.

This one is the best by far. The staff are wonderful, the spa is amazing, the rooms are very comfortable, the food in the restaurant is incredible and they even have electric car charging! It's honestly the perfect hotel for me!

The Amberley Inn is in a beautiful location just off Minchinhampton common. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast with pastries, fruit pots, local yoghurts, and freshly cooked English breakfast with Gloucestershire black spot sausage and bacon, mushroom, fried bread and poached egg. I enjoyed evening meal there too with the seafood gumbo.

The grounds are magnificet and very well maintained Good buffet breakfast, good dinner, bar. Rooms could do with a bit of work, partly because the hotel is so vast and the upkeep must be an enormous task, but the facilities are basically very nice. Welcoming for dogs. Stunning hotel - the design of the rooms and the main areas is exquisite, everything is thought through. The restaurant and cocktail bar are great, breakfast was very good as well. The spa is lovely and the working hours are quite long but try to book the treatments in advance as it gets busy. You can also walk around beautiful lake, river and the forest located at the hotel grounds. In short, it's a gorgeous hotel - you won't be disappointed.
