We also used their taxi service from Medan airport. Perfect stay in Bukit Lawang!

Located in Bukit Lawang, Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges features a garden, terrace, massage services, and free WiFi throughout the property. We are 2 friends in the autumn of our life. We went on the jungle trek and stayed overnight. Our guide, Kinol was so helpful and went at our pace. Are, his outsider carried the food. We stopped at 11 for delicious fruit. For lunch we had chicken, fried rice, tomato and cucumber. The camp on the river was well set out. Dinner was different curries.. Delicious! We saw orangutans including a big male. Different species of monkey and other interesting Forest creatures. Kinol had good eyes. We returned by a raft of big tyres joined together.. Very exciting..

If you want to have a good time and SEE ORANGUTANS this is the place, the team (we had two guides) knows the place like the palm of their hand, they split and search, thus, 2x chance to see orangs!! I consider this an unbeatable technique. While on our tour, we met some people that told us they saw 2 orangs in 2 days, a couple that saw 1 in their whole tour, we saw 8 orangs in just 6 hours or so!! first we saw a teen orang that started following us from the tree tops, then we crossed paths with a mama orang and her baby orang, then a single male adult, then a couple male-female, one more young adult and, THIS IS THE BEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME IN A LONG TIME, we were tubing back down the river to the guest house and we saw this HUGE orang, it looked almost 2m and like +200lbs Breakfast was good, super good KopiSusu, omelette, banana pancakes, everything was delicious!

Abbiamo adorato questo hotel. Lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile. Le stanze sono in ottime condizioni e sono pulite. La colazione è ottima e molto abbondante. All’entrata dell’hotel c’è la sicurezza che ci ha fatto sentire al sicuro. Si trova a pochi minuti in macchina dall’aereoporto quindi è molto comodo. Consiglio vivamente il soggiorno in questo hotel perché la città è molto caotica e ci possono volere ore per poter attraversare il centro con la macchina.
