The hotel chain, Super Hotels, has a great breakfast selection, focused on natural ingredients and local delicacies. Also, when you arrive at this particular chain, they give you a welcome drink at the bar, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. When I was there, they had several different types of local apple juices, a speciality of Aomori prefecture - a bit like wine-tasting but with apple juices! I also liked the fact that there was an onsen bath, although it's a public bath it's well worth it.

The staff were amazing, and the driver took us to the aquarium and back on our last morning before we took the train back to Aomori. The history is very special, and the food was also spectacular - it was so lovely to experience this Japanese cooking.

Just next to Shin-Aomori JR Sta, just go to West exit, and then branch out to North exit, which is faster compared to the walking map given by google map and navitime. Hotel is rather new and adopt modern design compared to the older style toyoko-inn. Room has sizeable window and has view to the city and the Gulf if the weather is clear.

A nice place to stay. The hotel is close to the Aomori Station 青森駅 and Aoiumi Park 青い海公園, just a few minute walk. I can see the Aomori Bay Bridge 青森ベイブリッジ from my room. Really nice view. The staff are nice and can speak English well. The room is tidy and clean. (There are washing machines and dryers in the hotel)
